Around Gothenburg:

On Foot is the best way to visit the centre of the city as everything is very closely knotted together.

Gothenburg is a very Bicycle friendly city with a number of cycle designated paths around the city. Check with the local tourist office for areas where you can hire a bike for your stay.

Gothenburg has an extensive tram network that covers the whole city. The main tram hub is Brunnsparken,where you can catch trams to all parts of Gothenburg.


Getting Out:

There are train connections to all other cities in Sweden from Centralstationen (tram Centralstationen/Drottningtorget).


Several coach services operate in and out of Gothenburg including Eurolines, Säfflebussen and Swebus Express. Most coaches stop at the main bus terminal at the Central station.
